Akatsuki Night In: Truth or Dare

"Okay, truth or dare, ____?" Kisame says with a grin. It had been his idea to play truth or dare, since you hadn't thought of anything in time... unlucky. Tobi had suggested baking cookies but that was ruled out after the last time; and the less said about that the better.
You stare at Kisame, weighing up your options. Well... the obvious dare he's going to choose is something to do with drinking; it is Kisame after all.
“Dare!” You say with a smile, confident in your choice. You watch the blue man closely, then your smile falters when he gives you a toothy grin.

“Well then, ____, since you seem so cocky tonight, I dare you to....” You hold your breath, waiting in anticipation, “..Go down to the hot-springs in the close mist village, go into the male's bath-” Your eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets, you're regretting your choice. “-and stay in the water for ten minutes,” and then he adds, “And you can't kill anyone, so no taking any weapons, and no jutsu. Nothing.”
He crosses his arms and laughs. You jump up in protest,
“You idiot! That's just plain wrong! I'm not doing it!”
You go to sit down with  your arms crossed, but a voice from the back of the room calls,
“You have no choice, ____, you will be doing it.”
You look to the back of the room.
“But Sir!”
“Do not worry so much ____, since I'm feeling generous tonight you may wear a swimsuit and the other members will not be allowed to go to the hot-springs with you.” This causes a lot of angry protests. You, on the other hand, seem a little happier with the arrangements.
“Thank you, Sir.”
You see a flicker from the corner, then you see a coat-hanger with something on it. You scurry over, not wanting to make Pein wait. You take the swimsuit from him then head out of the room to get changed. As you leave you look at the swimsuit... or more, the two pieces of very small material that are supposed to be a swimsuit, and role your eyes in disgust.
After you leave there's a sudden change of atmosphere. The male members all turn to the back of the room.
“Why did you say we can't go, un!?”
“You should respect the privacy of other members.”
“Screw respect! You're letting her wear a bikini! You ruined the dare!” Kisame yells.
“Silence.” Everyone becomes quiet so Pein continues, “One member will go to make sure she does the dare.”
“I'll go!” Four members yell at once. Pein sighs.
“Work it out between yourselves.”
“Right!”
The four males; Deidara, Hidan, Kisame and Tobi (yes Tobi) get in a circle and play an immense game of 'rock-paper-scissors', the result being...
“Fuck yes! I am so fucking there!”
“Hidan, you're not allowed into the bathhouse. Just watch from the sidelines.”
“Uhh... yeah sure.”
“I mean it, Hidan. Do not get involved.”
“Yes, Sir, I won't!”
Just then you arrive back into the room wearing a dressing-gown, the bikini on underneath it.
“Ten minutes?” You say, checking to make sure you have the right number to count down from.
“Ten minutes.” Kisame says with a grin, “Have fun.”
You sigh and head for the door. The others watch you leave, then Hidan rises to his feet.
“See you in a bit, bitches!”
He walks over to the front door, makes sure you're out of sight, then heads out.

You're stood in the changing rooms, convincing yourself to do it. None of the other members are here so it should be simple, you think to yourself.
You take off the dressing-gown and hang it up, then take a towel and head over to the door leading to the male section.
Outside, Hidan looks around, trying his best to find somewhere to watch the action. He eventually settles down on the outer-side of the great wooden wall surrounding the hot-springs, next to a largish hole in the wall, convenient and perfect for spying.
He nearly chokes when he sees you step out in nothing but a bikini. You look... good. Really good. He's never seen you without your cloak, let alone this.
You walk outside and notice there are already a few males in the hot-springs. They all look at you. You decide to get this over with so you hold your head up in the air, ignoring the leers, and walk over to the water's edge. You put your towel on the ground, then slip down into the water, letting out a gasp – not going unnoticed by the males – when the heat hits you.
You've been in the water for about a minute when one of the guys says,
“You know you're in the males' bath right?”
You close your eyes and nod.
You snap the open again after hearing a lot of movement and a few splashes. You're surrounded by a lot of smiling/grinning/ogling males.
Outside of the hot-springs, Hidan is rolling around on the ground, laughing to no end. You, on the other hand, are already furious.
“Have you never heard of personal space!?”
They ignore you.
“So then, sweetie, what brings you in here?”
“A dare.” You say bluntly.
“A dare?” One of the guys turns to to his friend. “You hear that? She likes a challenge.”
They both look at you with glints in their eyes. Before you know what's going on, there's one on either side of you and they're gripping hold of one of your hands each. You pull one of your hands free and say bitterly,
“Leave me alone or else.”
The man grabs for you again, and this time takes hold of your upper-arm in a vice-like grip.
“C'mon, sweet-heart. We're ninja of the hidden mist village, we're strong and we can fill your wildest fantasies...”
The man leans in so you act upon instinct and kick him in the lower-abdomen, sending him flying through the water. You think to yourself,
'Only six minute's to go-' “huh!?”
The other man has leaned in and is stroking your neck.
“Get away from me!” You yell, trying to tackle him off.
It seems you have underestimated the skill of these ninja because when you go to kick the second man, he darts forward, gripping both of your arms and shoving you back against the side of the pool, you head being thrown back against the side, next to your towel.
Hidan has stopped laughing by now, in fact, it's quite the opposite. He's got his eyes locked on the scene, the hairs on the back of his neck starting to stand on end. He can see you're getting into danger.
The first man swims back over to you and joins his friend. He looks down at you.
“Now do you want to do this the easy way... or the fun way?”
Hidan's blood begins to boil. They wouldn't dare...
“Get the hell off me!”
The man smirks. “The fun way it is!”
He turns and motions to the other males in the pool. You struggle to sit up, but as soon as you manage to lift your head it is slammed back to the ground.
“No, no, sweetie, you're not going anywhere.”
You hear the other men approaching, and for the first time in a long, long time, you let out a scared whimper. This only makes the man laugh.
“Shit, ____.” Hidan looks on, feeling sick to the pit of his stomach. When he gets back to base, Kisame is going to die for suggesting such a stupid dare.
His thoughts are snapped back to the scene when he hears a panicked yell.
You try to kick at the man who's just grabbed your leg.
“Let go of me!” You scream, your voice beginning to crack. This has no effect, however, other than one man shoving his hand over your mouth.
“Don't want the girls' pool getting suspicious.”
Since you're basically immobile, being pinned down by every limb, you do the only thing you can. Bite down very hard.
The man who had had his hand over your mouth pulls away, yelling in pain and distracting the other males. In that split second you manage to pull both of your hands free and sit up. You manage to catch one of the males in the back of the head, sending him into the water, stunned, but this is all you have time to do before you're pinned down again.
From the other side of the wall, Hidan curses under his breath,
“Damn it, ___, so close...”
His eyes suddenly bulge as the group of males close in, hiding you from sight. Then there's a scream.
“That hurts!” He hears, “S-stop it!...p-please...”
Hidan snaps.
You scream out, having no other option left. You know what's coming, there's no way you can stop it. Oh why had you agreed to not let the other Akatsuki members come with you?! This would have never happened. And if only you'd been allowed your weapons, every male here would be dead by now.
You feel the cold fingers running all over your skin, then your eyes snap open when you hear a crash. The guys on top of you have stopped moving too. You hear someone yell,
“Close your eyes, ____!”
You shut them tight, not knowing what's going on, then you feel the weight of the males being lifted off  you. There's a sound of metal soaring through the air, screams, yells, and then silence.
You don't open your eyes until you feel gentle hands on your shoulders, pulling you up to a sitting position.
You open your eyes and see the immortal version of Hidan looking at you with... concerned eyes? That's a new one. His voice doesn't show the same emotion in his voice though.
“____, you're hurt.” He says simply, putting his hand on the back of your head then showing you. Red.
You look at him a moment, not knowing what to do. What had just happened to you...
“Hidan... why did you... why are you even... when did you-”
Hidan puts his finger on your lips.
“Sshhh, ____, I think you've got concussion from the fall.”
He leans in close to you, staring into your eyes. There's a split second of silence, then Hidan transforms back into his usual self. He grabs hold of you and pulls you into him, hugging you. You're startled, wondering what the hell Hidan is doing, but then he starts talking.
“____, I was sent out by the Leader to keep an eye on you - to see if you'd chicken out of the dare. I'm so fucking glad I came. I'm not going to think about what could have happened to you if I hadn't been here.”
You pull back, feeling dizzy.
“B-but Hidan... why'd you help me?”
He composes himself, but keeps the same serious face. He runs a hand through his hair and says,
“Fuck knows. I just... I just feel like I have to protect you, y'know? I'm not like this with any of the others- hell, they could all be dead right now and I wouldn't care. To be honest if Kakuzu's dead then I'm happy! It's just you- ugh!”
He runs his hands down his face, annoyed with the feelings inside him. He sighs, looks at you and says,
“I have to make sure you're safe! I've been like this for months now, always fucking worried whether you'll be back from a mission or not! Dear Jashin it's driving me insane!”
You watch him, hardly believing what he's saying. The words are hardly sinking into your head, it's just so confusing to think at the moment. He said he saved you because he had to, not because your Leader had told him to... he said he always wants you safe... he risked himself for you..- it clicks.
“Hidan, you l...” Your words fade away as you start to sway. Your eyesight becomes hazy. Hidan steps forward and puts his hands on your shoulders, then guides you to the side and sits you down. After a few moments you look back up at him again and say, your voice still sore from screaming,
“T-thank you, Hidan. Thank- thank you for saving me.”
You put your hands on the side and push up so you're standing on the bottom of the pool, then you put your hands on his shoulders and stand on your tip-toes. Hidan's eyes widen and he says,
“What the fu-” But your lips connect with his before he can finish. You pull away after a moment , leaving Hidan stunned. There's a small patch of pink on his cheeks. He snaps out of it and says,
“Come on, your times up, lets get you back to base.”
You nod and go to get out of the water, but you hear Hidan say,
“Oh no you don't.”
Then he scoops you up in his arms and rises to his feet. You know not to protest, you can still see the worry in his eyes, so you lay you head against him as he walks. He goes to climb through the hole he had made in the wooden fence, but  you say,
“My dressing-gown's still in the changing room.”
Hidan sighs.
“Right...”
So after getting your dressing-gown...that Hidan won't let you put back on so you have to wear just the bikini, he heads back to the base with you in his arms.
You lean up and kiss Hidan's chin softly, then when you feel him tense up, you smile, rest your head against his chest and close your eyes.
Hidan looks down at you lying in his arms and he lets out a smile. He rest his head on top of yours and carries on walking home. It's at this moment that Hidan finally realises that what he's feeling is love.
