FFVII ~ 7 minutes in Heaven: Genesis

Special setting:
The night after the party you go to sleep in your bed, laughing at all that had happened. No sooner do you close your eyes, you reopen them to find yourself back in my living-room, where the party had been. The room is full of people you have never met. You look around and spot three males sitting just away from you on the sofa, all looking at you. One of them smiles.

“You didn't think we'd let our old friends have all the fun, did you?”
You take a step back.
“What do you mean?”
”Let's just say we all used to know Cloud...” “No, I mean what do you mean by have all the fun.”
One of the males, a boy with black hair and a goofy grin on his face, says,
“You're playing seven minutes in heaven with us!”
You nearly fall over.
“C-come again?”
To cut a long story short, you realise you must be dreaming and decide to play along with it. You end up sitting in between two of the males, and then the third passes you a...
“A glove?”
The boy shrugs.
“It's all we've got.”
You laugh and pull out a piece of paper. What's on it?

“A book~!” You say, laughing – still hyper from the sugar-rush from a couple of hours previous. The boy with shaggy light brown hair picks himself up from his seat and looks at you, then he walks off towards the closet. You look after him the turn back to the other two boys. You pout.
“What's up with him?”
The younger of the two black-haired males shrugs.
“Who knows? He's just... not so great with girl.”
You shrug and laugh again.
“Oh well! I'm sure he'll be okay with me!”
You turn and make your way to the closet, skipping every other step. You make it into the closet, swinging the door shut behind you. As soon as the door bangs shut you hear someone say,
“Turn the light on.”
You turn around and feel for the light-switch, then flick it on when you find it. You turn round and-
“Hey!”
The boy look up from his book questioningly. “You're supposed to be socialising, not reading a book!” You whimper dramatically. “I'm not that bad!”
You look at him and he looks back at you...then his eyes revert back to the book. You sigh.
“Well aren't you mister wonderful...”
He doesn't look up at you again so you decide to take it upon yourself to get him to talk. You spin around and flick the lights off with a smile. As expected you hear the boy say again,
“Turn the lights on.”
You shake your head- unnoticed in the lack of light.
“Not until you at least tell me your name!”
You hear a sigh.
“Genesis Rhapsodos. Turn the light on.”
Your head droops. You switch the lights on again and turn round, catching his eyes drop to the book.
'Mister boring! Why won't he talk to me!?'
You drop to the floor, crossing your legs and resting your head in your hands. It only takes two minutes before you're completely bored. You're watching Genesis intently. He hasn't taken his eyes from that book once. You give him a loud sigh, then noticing that he doesn't even look up, you sit up onto your hands and knees and crawl across to him, your feet in the air. You stop a few centimetres away from him and sit down again.
“What's the book called?” You say, trying desperately to start a conversation.
“Loveless.”
“...” You wait for him to talk again- though it doesn't happen. “What's it about?”
Never once looking up from his book he says, “The gift of the goddess.”
“Oh...that's...nice?”
He doesn't even give you a smile or anything. You sigh again, aggravated that he's almost completely ignoring you... all for a book! Okay, you admit, even you like to read a good book now and then but this is ridiculous! He's completely blanking you.
You get an idea. You sit up onto your hands and knees again and crawl up so that you're right next to him, then when he doesn't look up, as quick as lightning you take hold of the top of the book and snatch it from his unsuspecting hands, hiding it behind your back.
He looks at you properly for the first time.
“Give me that back.”
You frown.
“No! You're not even talking to me, and even if you were, I wouldn't give you it back when you ask like that.”
He looks at you with a blank expression then he says again, “Give me the book back...please.”
He puts his hands out in front of him, expecting you to put his precious 'LOVELESS' into it. Instead, since keeping hi book away from him seems to make him talk to you, you decide to shake your head.
“Nope! I'll be keeping this for now.”
“I said please.”
“I know but as soon as I give it back you'll stop talking!”
He gives you another glare, then seeming to go for his last resort, he dives forward, grabbing for the book. You see it coming and scramble out of the way just in time to have him fly past you and scrape his face across the floor. You laugh and rise to your feet quickly, seeing him do the same. You manage to run under his arm, holding the book close to you, and you push the closet door open with your shoulder.
The others in the room all look at you running across the room and up the stair-case, then wonder what the heck is happening when Genesis runs after you like a mad man. Zack turns to Angeal.
“Uhh... what just hap-”
“Zack, don't ask. We probably don't want to know...”
They look up at the ceiling, hearing the pair of you running around on the floor above.
You see the various doors to different rooms in front of you and run into the first one you get to, Genesis close behind. A bedroom. You dive straight over the top of the double-bed and hide on the opposite side. Genesis comes into the room and looks around. He saw you come in. You have nowhere to hide.
He steps another foot into the room before you manage to crawl under the bed. As he walks around the room, you manage to shuffle across under the bed so that you're closest to the door. Genesis reaches the side of the bed where you have just been, and seeing you not there, he leans down and look under the bed.
“Damn!” You yelp, kicking your foot about to stop Genesis taking hold of it and pulling you back. You scramble up from under the bed and scamper out of the room. Genesis pole-vaults over the bed and chases after you again.
You run into the next room and slam the door behind you, resting up against it. You look around. A bathroom. You jolt slightly when Genesis bangs on the door, trying to gain entry.
“Let me in and give me the book back!”
“Never!” You say with a grin on your face. You spot the shower in the far corner of the room and smirk. You pull away from the door, letting Genesis in, only you jump across the room and land in the shower-cubical, closing the screen-door behind you and holding it shut with one hand, holding the book in the other.
He looks at you with a glare- only you find this rather funny and laugh at him.
“You're not getting it back!” You say through giggling. Genesis stares at you for more than a few moments, then he does something that surprises you. He closes the door behind him and locks it, then sits against the bathtub
“Hiding in there isn't going to help!”
You stick your tongue out. You hold the book close to your chest, as if protecting it with your life. Genesis shrugs.
“I can wait all day.” He looks at you, then moves so he's sat down, his back leaning on the shower door. You sit down as well, but on the inside of the shower.
A minute passes and you change positions, becoming slightly bored. Now you have your feet up on the wall, lying on your back. Genesis turns round and sees you looking up at him. He smiles
'That's new...'
He lies down on his stomach, with his head opposite yours. You look at him oddly, wondering what on earth he's doing. Suddenly he breathes onto the glass and draw a pair of glasses with his finger; the glasses covering your eyes. You realise and sit up.
Is he playing games with you? Oh well, it's what you wanted!
You also breathe onto the glass. You draw lots of little love-hearts and a smiley face. Genesis just stares at the images. He wipes away the glasses and draws a little stick girl, but in the girl's arms he draws a a book; just like the one you have in your hands. You laugh and wipe yours away.
You take a large breath and blow out, just above the girl with the book, then you draw little clouds with faces and a sun, then below the girl, you draw a small stream.
As you're finishing your masterpiece, Genesis stands up and tries to open the door to the shower. You don't even have to look up, you just jam your finger into the bottom of the door, holding it shut.
Genesis frowns.
“Fine, have it your way.”
He walks over to the bath-tub again and picks up a small object from the shelf above it.

“What's that?” You ask curiously, eyeing the object up.
“Oh... nothing.” He looks at you. “Are you planning on giving me my book back?”
You shake your head, giggling. Genesis raises his eyebrows.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes!” You say, laughing that he hasn't realised he's never getting it back.. Genesis shakes his head.
“Fine then.”
He takes the object in his hand and makes sure you can see it. You realise what it is.
'Oh no!
You try to get up- only not in time. Genesis presses a switch on the object and freezing-cold water begin to gush out of the shower head, hitting you.
You scream. You shoot up off the ground and opened the door, nearly tripping on your way out. You land on the floor outside the shower on your hands and knees, soaking wet and freezing. You look up at Genesis and glare. He looks down at you and smirks for the first time.
“I did warn you.”
He bends down onto his knees and takes his book – luckily for him it had been saved from the water by your body. You glare at him harder.
That was uncalled for!”
Genesis puts the book safely away into a pocket in his trousers, then looks at you. Your teeth are chattering and your look could kill.
He smiles.
You blink, completely shocked. Smiling? Why...why is he-
You feel a hand on your cheek. You look down, noticing a glove. You look back at Genesis; jumping when you see his face almost an inch from yours.
“When did you get there?”
He keeps looking at you, not speaking. You realise the hand is still on your cheek so you say, “Uhh... Genesis? Are you in-”
Before you have time to finish, Genesis closes up the small gap between you, pressing his lips to yours. You nearly faint.
What-and you mean WHAT just happened here!? WHERE DID THIS COME FROM!?
You snap back to reality, feeling Genesis' lips pulling away from yours, cold air hitting your open mouth where he had just been. You feel the slightest tinge of a blush against your cheeks and look down at the floor, trying to hide it.
Genesis puts his hand under your chin and tilts your head to look at him. He smiles again.
“And what happened to little Miss Confident?”
You pull your head free and look back at the floor, feeling an even bigger blush staining your cheeks. He chuckles quietly.
“So then, I never did ask. What would your name be?”
You keep your head down, shaking from the cold chill. “_-____.”
“Well then, ____, maybe you should have just asked me to put LOVELESS away and talk to you in the first place, then it wouldn't have ended up like this. Though...” You look up, feeling yourself being lifted up off the ground and placed into Genesis' lap. “If you had I don't think it would have ended like this.”
You smile nervously, still shaking and looking all together quite meek. Genesis wraps his arms around your frame and holds you to him, resting back up against the bath-tub. You look at him again so he kisses the bridge of your nose.
There's a content silence between the two of you for quite sometime, until you hear Genesis sigh.
“I think our time is up for tonight.”
“What do you-” You stop mid-sentence, looking at Genesis. He's paler...-no. See-through. “Genesis what's happening!?”
He smiles. “Don't worry. We'll see each other tomorrow night.”
You look shocked. “But...how... has this all been a dream? How do you even know I'll see you tomorrow night!? Dreams are never the same twice!”
Genesis wraps his fading arms around you more tightly. “Of course...I'll come back to you. Even if you don't promise to wait. I'll return knowing you'll be here.”
You look at him, almost in awe. “Genesis...that's...beau-”
“A quote from LOVELESS.” He says with a cheeky grin. You frown and smack his fading chest with your fists.
“Don't joke about!”
He smiles. “Sorry- but, please, don't worry, I'll see you again.”
...
Your eyes open. You sit up, looking around your room. Wow, you had the weirdest dream.
Achoo!
Huh?-
ACHOO!
You feel a sudden chill rush over your body.
ACHOO!
You look down at yourself to see that you're soaking wet. You groan. So much for a dream...
“Urgh, Genesis you're going to die for giving me a cold!”
